The City of Mt. Angel’s volunteer programs give you the opportunity to turn your special talents and abilities into positive action. Volunteers are essential to the success of the City's programs. Our volunteer programs enrich the quality of life in the community by enhancing City services through the individual efforts of volunteers. The goals of our volunteer programs are to:

  • Provide an opportunity for and encourage citizen participation in city government.
  • Enhance the delivery of excellent customer service to the citizen's of Mt. Angel by using volunteers to complement the efforts of City staff.
  • Provide meaningful and challenging opportunities for volunteers.
  • Provide volunteers with an opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the community.
