Additional Information:
The City of Mt. Angel is currently pursuing funding for several city projects. We regularly apply for grants that are designed for towns our size to help with the development of the city and its infrastructure.
An overlay of South Garfield funded by the Special City Allotment Grant was completed on June 25, 2009.
The Annual I&I Project which re-lines the sewer sleeve and seals the seams in the sewer system was completed on Taylor Street in June 2009.

Gates Foundation Grant for Library Computers $7,800 for 2009 and $2,200 for 2010.
Police-
Dept of Homeland Security Radio Grant $10,000 (applied with NORCOM and Marion County
Emergency Management)
CHIRP Grant for School Resource Officer $240,000 from Federal Stimulus - denied
Dept of Justice Police Vest Grant $6,000
Dept of Transportation $2,500 for Seat belt enforcement

Community Housing Grant ( we have 2 of these ongoing grants open right now.)
DHS Grant to create a Water Master Plan
2010 Special City Allotment Grant has been applied for and will resurface College St from
the highway to the railroad tracks. The cap on the grant is $25,000.
CCIS Risk Management Grant to update the City's Personnel Handbook and Policies.
State of Oregon Technical Assistance Grant through MWVCOG to update the Development Code.
The City recently updated its Parks Master Plan. The Council will be looking to find ways to fund the long-term improvements to the Mt. Angel Park system.
The Planning Commission has agreed to look at the Transportation Master Plan and provide some input to the Council about possible improvements.

Re-Roof of Littlest Angel Preschool building - completed
Painting City Hall will be completed in October 2009.
Remove and replace tree by City Hall - to be complete Fall of 2009.
