CODE ENFORCEMENT
Code Enforcement in Mt. Angel is complaint driven, meaning that the City does not seek out code violations, rather staff responds to code enforcement complaints.  Code enforcement response is currently handled through the Police Department but a complaint may be submitted to City Hall or the Police Department.  Once a complaint is received, an officer will contact property owners or tenants that appear to not comply with the Mt. Angel Code of Ordinances.  The ultimate goal of the Code Enforcement Program is voluntary compliance.

The city does not resolve civil disputes or give legal advice regarding any situation.

If you have questions regarding code enforcement, you may contact the Police Department or City Hall.
